At HKSA, We take the needs of our committee members and participants very seriously. We are committed to following our internal, external policies and maintaining structural discipline.
We take health and safety issues seriously and are
committed to protecting the health and safety of our staff and all those affected by our activities.
Participants
We work to ensure that our participants have a meaningful experience with us. This means we communicate clear expectations and allow participants to safely, freely enjoy our events.
We follow GDPR regulations strictly for our website and survey data uses. All information disclosed in activities will be treated as private unless consented to be shared.
Our Internal Constitution outlines the structure of the organisation, how committee members are regulated, and how the Executive Committee is chosen.
Most of our event participants are under 18, as are some of our committee members. We prioritise their safety. Organisers with direct contact to children are DBS-checked.
Our Standing Orders lay out how projects and events are organised, how decisions are made, and how committee members should act to protect themselves and participants.
