In 2025, we launched Eat Good West Today, an AI-powered initiative designed to support students living independently in the UK, especially those navigating life in student accommodation for the first time.
Eat Good West Today offers:
Student-friendly recipes using basic ingredients and minimal equipment.
Meal plans for just £35 per week (£5 per day), tailored to UK supermarket prices.
Reels and short videos demonstrating quick cooking techniques.
Tips on reducing food waste, meal prepping, and shopping smart.
The AI not only generates recipes, but also helps students build shopping lists, track nutritional value, and adapt meals to dietary restrictions or cultural preferences.
As part of our outreach, we're creating engaging social media content, including cooking reels that demonstrate how easy and fun student cooking can be, even on a tight budget. Whether it’s a five-minute stir fry, a comforting curry, or a week’s worth of meals from one chicken, Eat Good West Today is all about empowering students to eat well without overspending.
This project reflects our belief that good food should be accessible to everyone, and we’re excited to continue growing this platform in 2026.
